1 egg yolk 1/4 teaspoon water
Paste or liquid food coloring
- Blend the egg and water together with a spoon.

- This glaze bakes into cookies, is dry to the touch when cookies are done, and the cookies are stackable when cool. The colors will be bright and colorful when used on sugar cookies and more subdued and earthy on gingerbread.
