3 tablespoons of almond powder almonds chopped (as finely as possible in food processor)

3 eggs
1 <<feve>> (baby)

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES

  1. Roll out puff pastry crusts and cut each into a large circle.
  2. Mix almond powder, sugar, and 2 beaten eggs to obtain a creamy paste.
  3. Spread the almond mixture on one of the pastry crusts, leaving one free inch around the edge.
  4. Hide the <<feve>> and put a little almond mixture on it.
  5. Place the second crust on top of the other.
  6. Dip your finger in some milk and pinch together the edge to join.
  7. Using a knife, lightly trace a grid pattern on the surface of the top pastry crust. Be careful not to cut clear through.
  8. Beat the third egg and with a brush or paper towel, brush the top surface of the cake.
  9. Bake 30 to 35 minutes, being careful not to let it burn.
  10. Allow to cool and serve warm. The person who finds the surprise is king or queen for the day. (Don’t forget to make a paper crown!)
