Old Fashioned Popcorn Balls

1 1/2 package natural flavor microwave popping corn
2 cups Ribbon Cane syrup

  1. Pop popcorn. Sort out the unpopped grains of corn and pour the rest into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour syrup into saucepan.
  3. Cook over medium heat until a drop forms a hard ball in cold water.
  4. Pour syrup in all over the corn. Mix with a spoon.
  5. Spray hands with Pam or cover with butter.
  6. Mash popcorn into balls. Be careful of hot syrup.
  7. Place balls on wax paper to dry.
