Beak – Candy corn
Hand shaped cookie cutter or pattern
Feathers – M&M’s traced on cardboard of child’s hand
Dots and Writing – Royal Icing

- Cut hand shapes and triangles (to hold up turkey) out of cookie dough.
- Bake according to recipe’s instructions.
- Use icing to attach triangle to back of turkeys so that the triangle supports the turkey in a standing position.
- Decorate with icing, candy corn, M&M’s, and gumdrop.
- An excellent project for a child’s party. Have hands ready for each child to decorate before Thanksgiving dinner. Let guests decorate their very own place card
